AITN Mission
The argument is the productAI is not a new sector to add. It is a new layer beneath everything we already do well.
Why Tamil Nadu over-earns
Tamil Nadu has the broadest industrial base in India, and AI multiplies a broad base more than a narrow one. A layer beneath many sectors compounds across all of them.
The intelligence dividend: the $2.4T gap
Remove the Intelligence Stack and the same industries deliver ~$2.6 trillion, not $5 trillion. The difference is not a new industry; it is intelligence applied to the ones already here.
The $5 trillion pathway
| Scenario | 2047 GSDP | Characterisation |
|---|---|---|
| Base | ~$2.6T | Continuation of current strengths |
| Ambitious | ~$3.5T | Aggressive reform + partial AI dividend |
| Transformational | $5.0T | Full Intelligence Stack + national-share gain |
Commit to $1T by 2030 · manage to a $3.5–4T central case · architect every institution toward the $5T upper tail. The $5 trillion figure never appears on this site without this table within one scroll.
The seven recommendations
What the deck recommends, in order
1
Publish $5 trillion as the ambition clock; capitalise $2.6 trillion; architect toward $3.5 trillion.
2
Make Tamil Nadu the lowest-cost place on earth to run AI sustainably: the single highest-leverage move.
3
Build vertical and Tamil-language models; don’t just consume AI.
4
Govern sector data as trusts: the moat no other state can copy.
5
Skill 2–3 million Tamils by 2035: the binding near-term constraint.
6
Specify the architecture, publish the evidence, convene the parties, score the result.
7
File the trade-mark family, and never put the year in the brand.
AITN’s role is the one no institution in the government estate holds: to specify the architecture, publish the evidence, convene the parties and score the result. It does not win investment, run a fund, deliver skilling at scale or operate infrastructure.
Positioning against the estate
