What AITN actually does.
Everything here is convening, evidence, or design. AITN does not deliver, fund or operate; the deck already assigns those mandates to other institutions.
The AITN Summit
The annual flagship convening. It puts the seven layer-owners in one room, launches the Stack Index and defends it in public.
The TN Stack Index
The annual scored assessment of all seven layers, with method and raw data published. The citable artefact that carries the brand. It must be able to report a layer going backwards.
Engine briefs
One evidence brief per engine, refreshed on a stated cycle.
Data Trust design
Convening and drafting the governance for sector Data Trusts. Design and governance only, never custody.
Talent: fellowships & diaspora return
AI fellowships and the Return-to-Tamil-Nadu programme for diaspora researchers.
AI-for-MSME
Practical adoption guidance for 8.5 lakh+ firms: clinics, playbooks and cluster workshops.
Advisory
Commissioned work for government and industry, priced under policy P05.
The Sub-Brand Gate
The published standard for launching anything new. Published before it is cleared, which is what makes every future launch credible.
The TN Stack Index
The annual scored assessment of all seven layers, with method and raw data published, Stanford’s AI Index as the model. It gives the summit a reason to exist, journalists a number to cite, departments a scoreboard they did not have to build, and AITN something to be right about, publicly, every year.

A brand that publishes its own boundaries is a brand other institutions can work with. This is a partnership instrument, not a disclaimer.
